Managing your workspace

How to update workspace name, URL, and logo, manage roles, and create or switch between workspaces.

Updated today

A workspace is your shared environment in Anara β€” it has its own name, URL, and member list. You can belong to multiple workspaces and switch between them freely.

Editing workspace settings

Only workspace Owners can change these settings. Go to Settings > General (under the workspace section):

  1. Click your workspace name in the top left.

  2. Go to Settings > General.

  3. Update the workspace name, URL slug, or upload a new logo.

  4. Save your changes.

Tip: Note: Changing the URL slug will break any existing bookmarks to that workspace (e.g., anara.com/your-workspace/).

Workspace roles

Every member has one of two roles:

  • Owner: Can manage settings, billing, members, and delete the workspace.

  • Member: Can use the workspace and collaborate on shared content, but cannot change workspace settings or billing.

Creating a new workspace

  1. Click your workspace name in the top left to open the workspace switcher.

  2. Look for the option to create a new workspace.

  3. Enter a name and complete setup.

Switching workspaces

Click your workspace name in the top left to open the workspace switcher. Select any workspace you belong to.

Leaving or deleting a workspace

  • Leaving: Members can leave from Settings > General.

  • Deleting: Only Owners can delete a workspace from Settings > General. This is permanent. If you're an Owner deleting your account, transfer ownership or delete the workspace first. See How to delete your Anara account.
