Where can I access Anara?

Anara is available as a web app and a Chrome extension. Here's where to find each one.

Updated today

Anara is available as a web app and a Chrome extension. The web app is where you do your research work. The extension is how you capture content while you browse.

Anara web app

The full Anara experience is at anara.com. This is where you upload and organize documents, read PDFs, chat with AI, and write notes. All features live here.

Anara Clipper (Chrome extension)

The Anara Clipper is a Chrome extension that saves web content to your Anara library without leaving the page you're reading. Found a paper on a journal site? Save it to your library in one click.

To install: Visit the Chrome Web Store listing page and click "Add to Chrome". Sign in with your Anara account to connect it to your library. Web pages saved with the Clipper appear as Website items and can be searched and chatted with just like uploaded documents.

Mobile access

Anara doesn't have a dedicated mobile app yet. You can access anara.com from a mobile browser, though the experience is optimized for desktop.

Which one should I use?

  • Web app β€” for reading, writing, chatting with AI, and managing your library

  • Chrome extension β€” for capturing web pages and articles as you browse, without interrupting your reading flow

Most researchers use both: browse and clip with the extension, then do the actual research work in the web app.
